Feeling that I am forever searching for a base, or searching for a familiar environment to my first house, I have developed a fascination with houses; temporary homes and spaces, places that have a significant effect on my life, or places that seems to emerge from nowhere calling out to be discovered.

My photography doesn't necessarily contain houses in it continuously but there tends to be a connection to a sense of place I feel I am forever searching for. This forms the basic principle of my photography; searching for and exploring these places, forever making images that capture the moment of a sense of belonging or on a completely different angle; displacement and how unconnected I feel about that place at the time.
